On behalf of the entire faith community at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Mahone Bay it is my distinct privilege to welcome you to our humble corner of the world wide web.
At the heart of Mahone Bay’s ‘three churches’, and as a part of the historical streetscape of Mahone Bay, St. John’s enjoys a 154 year history as a vital and active part of our community. And although times have certainly changed, much of our interior harkens back to our early history reminiscent of boat-builders, sea-farers and faithful Germanic heritage.
St. John’s is a place steeped in heritage. It is a place of relaxed fellowship, dynamic music, education, outreach, and faithful stewardship. Our church is a place to celebrate life’s many milestones while also serving as a place to mark life’s challenges. Here we laugh together, we pray together, we sing together, we grieve together…and we dream together about the continued re-formation of God’s church.
There is a place here…for the old.
There is a place here…for the young.
There is a place here…for the certain.
