At St. John’s, we believe that good stewardship of our resources is an essential aspect to faithful and gospel-focused ministry.
The work of our congregation is supported by the generous donations of members, friends, and visitors. Together, we are able to fund the administrative, outreach, and maintenance ministries; while also fulfilling our benevolence commitment to the ELCIC, annual giving to Lutheran Camp Mush-A-Mush, Lutheran Campus Ministry, Area Food Banks, and other community agencies.
We believe that ministry is best lived out in cooperative community with other congregations and agencies. Our careful use of gifts for the furthering of the gospel is one way that we can faithfully contribute to the broader scope of our discipleship work.
The financial methods you can use to give to St. John’s include:
• Your offering during worship on Sunday mornings
• Cheques, or post-dated cheques (mailed or dropped off in our locked box)
• e-Transfer to stjohnsmahonebay@gmail.com
• Pre-Authorized Remittance (PAR) – contact the church office
(if contributing by mail, drop off or e-transfer please include your name, email address and your envelope # {if known} in the notes for tax receipt purposes.)
Utilize Canada Helps to make a one time donation to a fund of your choosing, make a memorial donation, or set up a recurring donation which can be monitored and adjusted at any time.
